Low latency streaming from a multi-camera array to a UHD display wall

This work presents a high-throughput pipeline for the low-latency streaming and visualization of ultra-high-definition (UHD) media captured by array camera systems. By utilizing diverse configurations such as multifocal, multi-spectral, and mixed color/monochrome sensors, these systems enable the flexible capture of complex scene content across spatial, spectral, and focal domains. To manage the non-trivial data volumes generated by such architectures, our modular framework focuses on optimizing high-bandwidth streaming and real-time visualization performance. We demonstrate this framework using a 36-panel UHD display wall driven by a high-performance server equipped with nine Nvidia A6000 GPUs. This infrastructure provides the necessary bandwidth and compute power to move toward a unified, end-to-end architecture capable of real-time multi-scale data fusion and immersive visualization.
