The boundary layer regime in a porous layer with uniform heat flux from the side

On donne une solution analytique et numérique de laconvection naturelle dans une couche poreuse rectangulaire chauffée et refroidie avec des flux uniformes le long des parois verticales. On montre analytiquement que, dans le régime de couche limite, l’épaisseur de la couche limite verticale est constante (indépendante de l’altitude) et que la région centrale est sans mouvement. Le gradient de température vertical est le mêmeet constant partout dans la couche poreuse. Des résultats numériques sont fournis pour 100 < Ra < 5000, 1 ≤ H/L ≤ 10, où Ra = KgßH2q″/(xvk). La solution analytique de couche limite s'accorde bien avec les résultats numériques. © 1983, Pergamon Press Ltd.. All rights reserved.
