Multispectral imagers have been heavily studied for their application to target recognition, industrial gas pollutant monitoring, and biomedical imaging. This article describes the design and simulation of a 0.25 micron CMOS modulator and small enough to allow multiple modulators to reside beneath each pixel of an experimental multi-spectral imager.
