Introduction: Damaged tissue regeneration can be accelerated using natural biopolymers obtained from cellular derm, cartilages, which are used as membranes, hydrogels, sponges. These interact with tissues, inducing new cell and matrix material obtaining, initiating angiogenesis. Polyphenols from vegetal sources have antiinflammatory and antihistaminic properties, anihilate oxygen free radicals, can chelate metalic ions. Zinc ions assure cell protection against hyperactive free radicals, are necessary in keratin process, accelerate cicatrisation process. Materials and methods: Our research will evidentiate in vitro biological properties of a new topical product which consists of three active principles: vegetal polyphenols, zinc acetate and collagen (ox derm). We established first between the components and the optimal formula for collagen presentation (sponges). Results and discussions: We have obtained for different collagen sponges types and collagen membranes impregnated with zinc acetate and polyphenol extract in different ratio: collagen: polyphenols: zinc acetate - 2:1:0.33; 5:1:0.33;10:1:0.33; 20:1:0.33. The obtained products were tested on fibroblasts cultures. The obtained results showed that the optimal ratio from development of culture cells was collagen: polyphenols: zinc acetate - 10:1:0.33; for membrane and sponge products. Conclusions: We noticed that at high zinc acetate and polyphenols concentrations the cells degenerate and vacuoles appear. We concluded that these new products can repair damaged tissues.
