DAEδALUS (Decay At rest Experiment for δ studies At the Laboratory for Underground Science) is a new approach to measuring CP violation in the neutrino sector using few-tens-of-MeV neutrinos from decay at rest of pions created by multiple cyclotrons, in conjunction with a large water Cherenkov detector. The DAEδALUS high-intensity stopped-pion neutrino sources would also enable exploration of low-energy neutrino physics at short baseline. © 2012 American Institute of Physics.
