Treatment of cancer by radiation or chemotherapy need not thwart a woman's ability to have children. While most approaches to maintaining ovarian function remain experimental, embryo-and, to some extent, oocyte-cryopreservation have delivered positive results. © 2006 American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
