Overview
Amelia Ray (she/her/y’all) is a non-fiction filmmaker hailing from Birmingham, AL. A descendant of Kentucky dairy farmers and Appalachian musicians, she is interested in the creative liberation of the South. She has a BFA in Film/Television from the Savannah College and Design. Her work has been supported by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, the Andy Warhol Foundation, and the Southern Documentary Fund.
