Brandee N Woolard
Lecturing Fellow of Law

Brandee Woolard serves as a lecturing fellow in the Start-up Ventures Clinic at Duke Law School.  Her teaching focuses on intellectual property issues, and she currently works at Coats and Bennett, PLLC as an associate focusing her practice on intellectual property including patent and trademark preparation and prosecution; post grant proceedings; and general intellectual property litigation.

Woolard earned her Juris Doctor with honors from Duke University School of Law and graduated valedictorian of her class at NC State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. While in law school, she served as an editor and staff writer for the Duke Law and Technology Review, was a member of the Intellectual Property and Cyberlaw Society, and held a vice president role in the Women Law Students Association.  She is an alumna of the Start-up Ventures Clinic and received the 2014 Professional Award from the Duke Law Clinics for her service to clients.
