Overview
Charlotte Zhao is a first generation Master of Science student at the Department of Population Health Sciences in the Duke School of Medicine. Zhao graduated from University of California, Davis in 2025 where she received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science with a background in Human Development. Zhao is interested in improving intervention strategies and promoting adherence to lifestyle changes to prevent chronic disease progression, as it applies to cardiometabolic diseases in African American, Asian American, and other marginalized populations.
