Teaching Summary
I serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant under Dr. Amy Herring for STA 198L: Introduction to Global Health Data Science at Duke University. I lead coding labs and support students in statistical computing with R, data visualization, reproducible research, and foundational statistical concepts.
Previously, I served under Dr. John Thorp Jr. as Head Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for IDST 89: Way of Medicine at UNC–Chapel Hill. In this role, I facilitated discussions and structured debates on ethical and philosophical issues in medicine and public health. My teaching interests include statistical literacy, applied data science, reproducible workflows, and the effective communication of quantitative ideas.
