Grace Gibson

Overview


Grace Gibson is a first-year PhD student in the English Department at Duke University. She received a B.A in English Education at Murray State University and a M.A in English Literature, Criticism, and Textual Studies at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. 

Her research spans late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century British women writers, notably Lennox, Burney, Austen, and the Brontës. Her works incorporates elements of digital humanities and explores questions of disability and the body, gender and authorship, and reading and print culture across the eighteenth and nineteenth century.
