About

Kendall studied physics during his undergraduate education at the University of Maine, where he completed computational, simulation-based research on exoplanetary systems. In 2020, he entered the physics Ph.D. program at Drexel University, where his initial research was with a neutrino detector collaboration called PROSPECT. The following year, Kendall joined the computational biophysics group, doing research on the dynamics of spiking neural networks. His dissertation project focused on modeling neuronal traveling waves, their interactions with synaptic plasticity, and possible mechanisms of dynamical transitions in wave propagation. Most recently, he began as a postdoctoral associate at Duke University in the Department of Biology.
