Overview
Nikkie is a second-year graduate student pursuing an M.S. in Population Health Sciences at Duke University. She is interested in drug development and clinical trials, with a focus on data-driven preventative medicine. Currently, Nikkie is interning with the Duke Institute of Health Innovation, where she is collaborating on a project that optimizes prior authorization workflows.
Prior to attending Duke, Nikkie graduated from Vanderbilt University in May 2024 with majors in Cognitive Studies and Medicine, Health, & Society, and minors in Data Science and Scientific Computing. Originally from Southlake, TX, she enjoys exploring nature, strength training, and traveling with friends in her free time.
