Paulina Duda
Visiting Instructor of Slavic and Eurasian Studies

Paulina Duda – is a visiting instructor of Polish at Duke University and a lecturer in New Media Art Department at Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, Poland, where she teaches Music Videos and Moving Pictures: Introduction to Film Practice courses. She received her PhD degree from University of Michigan (2017), and her MA from University College London. Her research interests include the intersection of nationalism and auteur theory in Polish cinema and music video aesthetics and production in Central and Eastern Europe. She publishes essays and reviews in East European Film Bulletin and is an organizer and a jury member of long standing Ann Arbor Polish Film Festival.
