Shan Wang
Assistant Professor of Psychology at Duke Kunshan University

Current Research Interests

I'm interested in human perception and action. One research strand aims to understand how we perceive others' pain by focusing on the visual attentional processing of pain-related signals, e.g., facial expressions of the sufferer. Another research strand seeks to discern how we use perceptual information, such as visual and somatosensory input, to guide our everyday movements, and how this changes across the lifespan.
