Sydney Brief

Sydney Brief is a PGY-1 in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine. She graduated with high honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and a minor in Health Promotion. She earned her MD from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed the Leadership in Rural Medicine Certificate Program. Her academic interests include wilderness medicine, EMS, and medical education. Outside of medicine, she enjoys long-distance running, hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
