Overview

Research Interest: My research interests include microbial pathogenesis, bacteria, microbiology, and immunology. I have many questions in how pathogens evade the immune system and how genetic heterogeneity in clinical isolates can manifest different infection characteristics and health outcomes in humans. From previous experiences, I have enjoyed investigating Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium abscessus and would like to continue working on infectious disease research.

Personal Interests: In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, attending sporting events, and practicing yoga. I also love immersing myself in creative environments, surrounded by different forms of art, like museums or concerts.
