Overview
My current investigational activity centers around Central Nervous Protection and Mechanisms of Injury During Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. In this regard, we have both clinical investigational tools (cerebral blood flow, cerebral metabolic rate fraction) for clinical investigation as well as a cardiopulmonary bypass piglet model for laboratory investigation.
