Overview
Xinran Li (they/them) navigates the world through experimental nonfiction film and transdisciplinarity. Trained in medical humanities, visual anthropology, and filmmaking at Mount Holyoke College and Harvard Medical School, their work traces the liminal spaces of memory, migration, queerness, and psychiatry; their community practice explores the ineffable meanings of belonging, joy, and grief. They have spent most of their life between Beijing, China, and Massachusetts, USA.
