Overview
Max Yueqian Lin is a PhD student in the CEI lab at Duke University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where he works under the guidance of Prof. Yiran Chen and Prof. Hai "Helen" Li. His research interests center on multimodal large language models, with particular emphasis on audio and vision understanding and generation.
Lin completed his undergraduate studies at Duke Kunshan University and Duke University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Data Science in May 2024. He graduated with summa cum laude honors and a signature work distinction, and served as the valedictorian of his class. During his undergraduate career, his academic work was supervised by Prof. Ming Li and Prof. Kai Zhang.
