Adam's research examines the history and theology of contemporary praise and worship practices (including music) in North American contexts.
Adam holds an M.A. in religion and music from Yale Divinity School and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music (2016) and a B.A. in Music Education from Trinity Christian College (2013).
Adam's recent residential and hybrid online teaching activity includes Duke Divinity School (Summer 2020) and Western Theological Seminary (Spring 2019). He has served as a teaching assistant at Duke Divinity School and Calvin Theological Seminary (Grand Rapids, MI).
