Overview


Amol Sura, MD (Medical Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology) joined Duke Eye Center
after completing sub-specialty training in uveitis and ocular immunology at the F.I. Proctor
Foundation/University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Sura completed residency training at the
University of Alabama, Birmingham. He will join Dr. Victor Perez in the Foster Center for Ocular
Immunology at Duke Main, where his clinical interests include all varieties of uveitis, scleritis,
cicatricial pemphigoid, inflammatory ocular surface diseases, and cataract surgery. In his free
time, he enjoys farmer's markets, biking, and eating the samples at Costco.
