I am a Th.D. candidate in New Testament studies, with interdisciplinary interests in theology and music. My research focuses on moral formation in the letter to the Colossians, particularly as found in the practice of singing. My research draws on studies in ethnomusicology and anthropology of the voice to gain a framework for understanding the relationship between musical practice and moral formation. As such, my work sits at the intersection of New Testament studies, theology, ethnomusicology, and ethics.
