Andrew Steck

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Economics at Duke University.  My research is primarily in the areas of empirical industrial organization and energy economics.  Several current projects focus on issues related to the domestic oil and gas industry such as: the development of operators’ hydraulic fracturing productivity, the effect of chemical disclosure regulations, and the effect on rental housing.  Prior to the PhD, I worked for Credit Suisse in New York.
