Overview


Azalea Kim, MD, MBA, MPA is Consulting Associate and faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine. She sees patients as a primary care provider at the Duke Outpatient Clinic.  Dr. Kim currently serves as Chief Health Officer (CMO) for a national behavioral health care delivery organization, and has experience and expertise in value based care, including clinical transformation and reimbursement strategy, implementation of National and statewide programs, and  application of health data science and health IT workflows to improve outcomes for patients. Dr. Kim is a graduate of Princeton University, and received an MD degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MPA from the George Washington University. She completed her residency in the combined Internal Medicine/Management Leadership Pathway for Residents at Duke University Health System.
