• Adjunct faculty and project advisor for DNP students at Wake Forest School of Medicine.
Developing course instructions and content that align with the School of Medicine’s curriculum
while working with students directly on their DNP QI projects and thesis proposals. Providing
direct feedback to students along with guidance for future academic practices. Designing and
delivering core content through instructional plans in a virtual setting. Promoting student success with the use of flexibility, all while exhibiting a passion for teaching and the collective realm of academia.

05/2022-Present: Duke University School of Nursing Clinical Instructor
• Clinical Instructor for Duke University School of Nursing AGACNP program. Proving clinical
instructions, advanced clinical assessment evaluations, site visits, and hands-on acute care skills
training for students. Designing and delivering clinical content through instructional plans in both
virtual and in-person settings. Promoting student success with the use of high ethical standards
while encouraging growth and development of interdisciplinary relationships.
Advising & Mentoring Summary
Currently advising three DNP students through Wake Forest School of Medicine during their project development including: solidifying project idea, IRB submission, manuscript development, paper edits, and submission for publication.
ANA mentor for new RN's.
I am passionate about mentoring, as well as professional growth and development. I am eager and willing to continue to aid in this process through Duke University School of Nursing.
