Assistant Professor of Philosophy

I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Duke University  since Fall 2014. In 2018-2019 I will be the Andrew W. Mellon Assistant Professor of Philosophy. In 2013-2014, I was a Bersoff Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow of Philosophy at NYU .  Before that, I was a graduate student at Rutgers University . I have broad interests. My areas of specialization are philosophy of language, epistemology, philosophy of mind and philosophical logic. Other than philosophy, I do linguistics, mostly formal semantics and syntax, which I learned here .  Originally, I am from Italy and grew up in a village on the hills of Monferrato (Calamandrana ) where good wine abounds. You can find my CV here.
