Overview
Caryl M. Stern is the Chief Impact Officer at LionTree, an investment and merchant bank rooted in sports, media, and entertainment. A recognized leader in the nonprofit sector, she previously served as Executive Director of the Walton Family Foundation and spent over 13 years as President and CEO of UNICEF USA. Earlier in her career, Caryl held senior roles at the Anti-Defamation League, where she was the founding director of A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute, and served as Dean of Students at Polytechnic University. She serves on the advisory boards of Citizens & Scholars, Beyond Sport, Change the World Academy, We Are Family Foundation, and Chime for Change. Named one of People Magazine’s “25 Women Changing the World,” she holds a bachelor’s in studio art, a master’s in college student personnel administration, and has completed Ph.D. coursework in the same field. She is also the recipient of five honorary doctorates.
