Overview


Cassandra is a doctoral student in the Department of English. She is a 2025-2026 Rhodes Doctoral Fellow in the Computational Humanities, focusing on the effects of short digital forms on the contemporary novel. Her research interests include Marxist feminist theory, American and French literature since 1960 (particularly Joan Didion), political economy, aesthetics, and the relationship between the internet and identity formation. She currently co-convenes the Digital Culture and Literature working group and the Historical Materialisms working group, both sponsored by the FHI.

She earned her MA in English from McGill University and her AB in English, magna cum laude, from Harvard College.
