Predicting response to a US nicotine reduction standard in medical and psychiatric priority populations · September 1, 2024 - September 1, 2025 PI · Awarded by: NIH Tobacco Centers of Regulatory Science (TCORS) Center for the Assessment of Tobacco Regulations (CAsToR; 2U54CA229974) · $20,000.00 Grant to support pilot tobacco regulatory science research activities that could inform the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) in its execution of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. This project will use modeling approaches to estimate potential effects of a nicotine reduction standard in priority populations such as people with chronic pain, people with disabilities, and people with HIV.
