Establishing standardized healthy reference distributions and values for multisite 129Xe gas exchange MRI/MR spectroscopy at 3 T across major scanner platforms.

Journal Article Magn Reson Med · June 2, 2025 PURPOSE: To establish standardized reference distributions and values for 1-point Dixon 129Xe gas exchange MRI/MR spectroscopy (MRS) in a multicenter healthy cohort of 18-30-year-olds scanned on three major 3T platforms. These distributions and values enab ... Full text Link to item Cite

Design and Implementation of a Multi-Center Trial of 129Xe Gas Exchange MRI and MRS to Evaluate Longitudinal Progression of COPD.

Journal Article J Magn Reson Imaging · April 23, 2025 MR imaging holds the potential to enhance drug development efficiency by de-risking early phase studies and increasing confidence in results. It can improve patient selection, increase repeatability, and provide greater sensitivity to change, thereby enabl ... Full text Link to item Cite

Combining hyperpolarized 129Xe MR imaging and spectroscopy to noninvasively estimate pulmonary vascular resistance.

Conference J Appl Physiol (1985) · March 1, 2025 Hyperpolarized 129Xe MRI/MRS enables quantitative mapping of function in lung airspaces, membrane tissue, and red blood cells (RBCs) within the pulmonary capillaries. The RBC signal also exhibits cardiogenic oscillations that are reduced in precapillary pu ... Full text Link to item Cite
