Overview

I am a clinical pathologist and medical microbiologist, privileged to have a career where I can implement and direct the latest diagnostic methods, serve as a clinical consultant, and lead a team of highly skilled laboratorians. I believe clinical laboratories are uniquely positioned to both serve individual patients and as force multipliers for broader initiatives in optimizing medical care. My focus is on bacteriology and antimicrobial susceptibility testing, studying the clinical impact and implementation of novel diagnostics and algorithms, including rapid modalities, decision support tools, interpretive resulting, and test utilization.
