Research Interests
I focus on two areas in research: 1) the development of novel therapies and clinical trials and 2) collaboration with investigators such as pathologists, members of the Duke Cancer Institute and radiologists. I have been the Principal Investigator of 12 clinical trials (1 international trial and 3 investigator‐initiated trials) and the co‐Investigator of 7 trials.
I am a member of the National Cancer Institute NET Taskforce, National Cancer Care
Network Committee, the Alliance Chair for NETs, a former member of the GI ASCO Program Committee, and former Board Member of the North American NET Society. I am a prior FDA ODAC member.
