Donald Thomas Ellis II
Associate Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Ellis is passionate about international medical teaching, simulation training, and disaster preparation. He currently oversees the pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) rotation for the pediatric and medicine/pediatrics resident physicians at Duke University Medical Center and supervises the PEM elective for students from Duke School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and Physician Assistant Program. He collaborates with the Duke Healthcare Preparedness Coalition as an active member of the North Carolina 400 State Medical Assistance Team (SMAT-400).
