Overview
My passion is for radiology research. As a resident, I was invited to present my research at international conferences (Journees Fracophones de la Radiologie, Paris, European Congress of Radiology, RSNA) and these experiences inspired me to focus on research.
I completed medical school in Heidelberg, Germany and Pamplona, Spain (through the ERASMUS scholarship program). During that time, I also completed internships in California, Bahrein, Barcelona and New Orleans). I completed my radiology residency including board certification in Switzerland (University Hospital Basel).
My passion for research was recognized by the RSNA (trainee research prize 2021, poster certificates of merit 2022), the Society of Advanced Body Imaging (Cum Laude Award 2022) and by radiology reporting organizations like auntminnie.com (Best Radiology Image 2022) and Radiology Business (2020).
In coming to Duke in 2018, I joined the Department of Radiology as a research fellow and have also completed several data science, statistical modeling and machine learning classes through the Duke Master in Interdisciplinary Data Science program since then.
I now serve as a Senior Research Associate, where I have the opportunity to work with radiologists from all divisions, as well as residents and fellows, students, and Radiology Technologists. I am proud and excited to continue to bring energy and enthusiasm for research to Duke and help drive Radiology research in all sub-specialties.
