Gargi Khare Vora
Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology

Dr. Gargi Vora, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Duke University Eye Center, received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the Harvard Department of Ophthalmology – Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. She continued her fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at Duke University Eye Center, where she joined faculty.

Dr. Vora’s clinical practice consists of medical and surgical treatment of corneal disorders, cataracts, and refractive surgery. She also has particular clinical as well as research interest in ocular surface tumors.

Her academic achievements include several publications in the peer-reviewed literature and scientific abstracts/presentations at national meetings. She has received grants from the Fight for Sight/Research to Prevent Blindness to pursue her research.
