Overview
My research interests lie in issues surrounding the surgical management of obesity. Of particular interest are determination of preoperative parameters which might be associated with postoperative outcomes, metabolic and endocrine changes that occur with marked weight loss, the impact of support groups on patient adaptation, and the psycho-social changes induced by surgery.
