Overview

I am broadly interested in cognitive control. Currently, I work with Dr. Tobias Egner to study the adaptive nature of control using various behavioral task paradigms focusing on cognitive flexibility.

Prior to joining Duke,my post-bacc was spent as a full-time research coordinator in the Poldrack Lab at Stanford University. Alongside Dr. Patrick Bissett and Dr. Russ Poldrack our research focused on understanding the relationship between various constructs related to cognitive control (Working memory, inhibition, task switching, and conflict adaptation) using both dual task paradigms and factor analysis models. We also used neuroimaging in the form of dense scanning to understand the neural underpinning of these relationships.

As an undergraduate at UC Davis, I was an RA with Simine Vazire, looking into several key aspects of Metascience such as reproducibility, peer review, and publication bias. The time spent in Simine's lab continues to fuel my interest and commitment to Open Science practices within scientific research.

Cognitive tasks, anatomical MRI, and functional MRI data evaluating the construct of self-regulation.

Journal Article Scientific data · July 2024 We describe the following shared data from N = 103 healthy adults who completed a broad set of cognitive tasks, surveys, and neuroimaging measurements to examine the construct of self-regulation. The neuroimaging acquisition involved task-based fMRI, resti ... Full text Cite
