I am a board certified general surgeon with clinical focus in minimally invasive foregut and bariatric surgery. I take care of patients who have severe obesity, heartburn or difficulty swallowing due to esophageal diseases or hiatal hernia.
I am a clinical epidemiologist and health services researcher with interests in advanced analytics, including machine learning methodology. My primary research interest is in developing and implementing data-driven systems to help health providers take better care of their patients.
