Overview
I am a 1986 graduate of the Duke PA Program and also hold a master's in environmental management from the Duke Nicholas School and a Certificate in Public Health from UNC-CH. I'm retired from clinical practice in orthopedic surgery, but continue to serve as a part-time instructor in the PA program. I'm also part of an inter-professional group of Duke faculty working to integrate topics of climate change, planetary health and environmental sustainability into the medical, nursing, PA, PT, OT and pharmacy health curriculum.
