Overview
Kera Allen is the Program Coordinator for the Molecular Genetics and Microbiology department. She manages, coordinates and oversees different programs and projects within MGM. Kera provides support to MGM graduate students by overseeing daily operations, coordinating activities, such as preliminary exams, dissertation defenses, recruitment activities and student groups. Kera processes conference travel awards applications, committee approval forms, reappointment letters and manages the budget for MGM course activity and recruitment expenses. She serves as the central point of contact between students, faculty, staff and other academic departments within the Graduate School. She is also responsible for managing the MGM website and making updates and recommendations as deemed necessary. Kera ensures students are registered for required courses and maintains MGM's course listings for the program.
