Health disparities in cardiovascular disease pose a significant threat to the health- and lifespan of African Americans. Dr. Hill's research focuses on the intersectionality of psychological, social and biological mechanisms implicated in the etiology and progression of cardiovascular disease with the broad aim of enhancing our understanding of the biobehavioral pathways underlying CVD disparities.
