Current Research Interests

Luis is a Ph.D. candidate in Behavioral Marketing at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

He studies how consumers make decisions about their goals and resources. His work looks at how people use information about their past goal conflict to predict (and prepare) for the future. He also studies how people might use their resources as a cue to choose their goals. 

Before attending Duke, Luis helped firms improve their competitiveness through training and consulting. He received his B.S. and M.A. in Engineering and Management from Tecnologico de Monterrey and his MBA from Brigham Young University.
