I am a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Duke University. I study political sociology and the sociology of knowledge using computational methods. My dissertation research examines how the organizational ecology of online political news media makes specific audiences more or less likely to accept misleading and highly partisan information. I have also done work in the areas of religion, culture, social movements, and communication among others.
