Michael O Boyd

Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery
Orthopaedic Surgery

Overview

I specialize in nonsurgical orthopaedic care. I treat patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, such as neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, back, hip, knee and ankle problems. Causes of these conditions may come from arthritis, overuse, or a pinched nerve. I use different nonoperative treatments, including physical rehabilitation, non-opioid medications, and injections to make patients comfortable and keep them active. I perform different injections and procedures using ultrasound and x-ray guidance. My approach to patient care is simple: listen, discuss, and treat. We will have a conversation about your symptoms and goals, discuss the options, and develop an agreed upon treatment plan. In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball and exploring the outdoors with my wife, daughter, and two dogs.
