Nikita Kohli is a third year PhD student in Public Policy, in the Economics concentration. She studies urban labour markets in developing countries. Prior to starting at Duke, she worked as a senior research associate with IPA in Kenya and Uganda, and then as a research fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. She has worked on projects spanning financial inclusion, female labour force participation, and technology adoption. She holds a BA in Economics from St. Xavier's College (Mumbai), and an MA in International and Development Economics from Yale University.
