Overview
Nina Sun is a Lecturing Fellow with the Duke Center for International Development. She is a lawyer specialized in human rights. Her work primarily focuses on the intersection of health, human rights and the law, analyzing and advising on laws, policies and practices that align with countries' human rights obligations. Nina is the founder of Article XII Consulting, a boutique consulting firm focused on advancing the right to health. In this work, she leads human rights analyses and advisory projects across 20+ countries. Her clients include the Global Fund, UNAIDS and various global non-profits. Prior to Article XII, Nina worked in legal and advocacy roles at UNAIDS, the Center for Reproductive Rights and the World Health Organization.
