Patience Wall
Program Coord, Senior

Patience Wall is the State and Local Policy Engagement Director for Duke Policy Bridge at Sanford , the Sanford School’s initiative to extend our deep engagement with the policy world. She oversees programming and networking on state and local policy issues in health, education, and other social policy topics more broadly. To date, she has helped forge partnerships and connections around the "Color of Education"  , North Carolina's opioid crisis, and other opportunities. A 2015 Duke alumna, Patience has a degree in Public Policy Studies from Sanford. Immediately prior to joining the Policy Bridge, she was a polling analyst, creating and monitoring polls for Public Policy Polling in Raleigh. While at Duke, she was active in the education field: interning at the North Carolina Association of School Administrators lobbying organization, teacher-training in Durham Public Schools, and working with domestic violence survivors at the New Orleans Family Justice Center as part of Duke Engage. She enjoys hiking and being a friend to people who need support.
