Overview

I am a PhD student in Public Policy (Economics concentration) at Duke University. I study development, labor, and gender. My current work focuses on how families are impacted by policies such as inheritance laws, school construction and childcare expansion; particularly I am interested in families' education investments and marriage market decisions.

Prior to the PhD, I worked as a Consultant at the World Bank (DIME) and a Research Associate at Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). I hold a MSc from the London School of Economics and BA from St Xavier's College, Mumbai.
