Preeya K. Gupta, MD, is a fellowship trained ophthalmologist, with expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of cornea and anterior segment diseases. She specializes in advanced corneal transplantation and cataract surgery techniques (DSEK, astigmatism and presbyopia correcting intraocular lens implants), and the management of ocular surface diseases such as dry eyes and blepharitis. Dr. Gupta is also experienced in the latest laser vision correction procedures including custom bladeless Intralase LASIK, PRK and PTK (surface ablation treatments), and phakic intraocular lenses (implantable contact lenses). She was awarded the Dastgheib Eye Surgery Award in recognition for outstanding surgical skills and is committed to providing the highest level of patient care and patient satisfaction. Dr. Gupta has several published articles and is a co-author of multiple textbook chapters. Dr. Gupta is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and International Society of Refractive Surgery.
